The Ag Committee of the Great Falls Chamber of Commerce awards four $1,000 scholarships on an annual basis to individuals in Great Falls and Golden Triangle counties seeking a career in the agriculture industry. Scholarships are for the 2018-2019 school year. Two are awarded to students attending an accredited college, university, or technical school and two are awarded to graduating high school seniors planning to attend college full time next year. The application and all documents must be received via mail or Email by December 15th, 2017.

Gladis Gerrity Scholarship Trust
$5000 renewable for 4 years- 4 recipients selected from GFCC seniors based on financial need, scholastic standing, ability to complete a 4 year degree from an institute of higher learning and good moral character. Due to Mrs. Thayer by March 15th. Application
Cascade County Clerk and Recorders Scholarship: A $1000 and on $500 for a graduating senior who will be attending college in the state of Montana. Application is due March 16, 2018. Application
Montana University Systems Honors Scholarship: Waves tuition for up to 4 years at a MUS Campus, Statewide competition with up to 200 awards. Application and all materials due by March 15, 2018. www.mus.edu/scholarships
Mountain View Co-op: Offering ten $500 awards to students or parents who are patrons of Mountain View Co-op. Preference will be given to employees of Mountain View Co-op and applicants entering agricultural related studies. Due April 15th . See Mrs. Thayer for Application.
Housing Authority Scholarship: $1,100 scholarship award to a student of a family with resides in a public housing complex or who is assisted through the Section 8 program. See Mrs. Thayer for application and details. Due March 8th.
Malmstrom Spouses Club– Dependent child of active duty personnel, retired personnel or deceased active/retired member of USAF (including Guard). Secure and active duty sponsor currently stationed at Malmstrom. 3.0 GPA. See document for additional eligibility requirements. Award varies. Due March 2nd.
Scholarships for Military Children Program: This is supported through the military commissary system. At least on $2000 scholarship is awarded to each commissary. To qualify for consideration, applicants must be a dependent, unmarried child, younger than 21 or 23 if enrolled as a full-time student at a college or university – of a service member on active duty, a Reserve or Guard member, retiree or survivor of a military member who died while on active duty, or survivor of a retiree. Centene Corporation Scholarship Essay: Attending a college or university in Montana (public or private) in the fall. Seniors who have been awarded the Presidential Scholarship or Montana University System Honors Scholarship are not eligible. Each applicant will be rated on number of High School Credits and GPA (50%) and their score on an impromptu essay. 3 scholarships of $2500 will be awarded. Application and transcripts must be turned in by March 1st and the essay session is March 24th. See attached application information. Application
Elks National Foundation Legacy Award Scholarship – Graduating seniors must be a child or grandchild of an active Elk member to apply for $4000 scholarship. Due February 2, 2018. Apply at www.elks.org/scholars
MSU-Billings Scholarships – Priority will be given to students who apply by February 1, 2018. The online scholarship application is available at www.msubillings.academicworks.com. A complete list of scholarships may also be found at this site. There are 2 components students are required to provide to successfully submit their online scholarship application. Students must:
- Write a personal statement (500 words or less) that describes their current involvement in community and/or school activities, work experience, educational goals and any other relevant information they would like the scholarship committee to consider.
- Identify three (3) people who will submit an electronic letter of recommendation (students will need to include their references’ email addresses in their online application).
Black Mountain Software is offering scholarships to Montana students. All interested 2018 graduating Montana high school seniors who will be attending an accredited institution of higher education, regardless of their field of study, are eligible. These accredited institutions include trades school, technical schools, colleges or universities.
Two scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $500.00 each. Scholarship payment will be made directly to the school that the applicant will be attending. Applications and essays may be submitted electronically or mailed to Black Mountain Software. If mailed, send to:
