Faith plays a critical role in the daily educational life for students and staff at Great Falls Central Catholic High School. As the mission statement says, we take seriously the responsibility of preparing our youth to live fully God’s will for their lives. Our Catholic Identity is evidenced through daily prayer, weekly Mass, opportunities to participate in Adoration and Reconciliation, the celebration of Catholic Traditions, and the symbols of the Catholic Faith. Religion classes and retreats are also a core component of our identity. Our identity is most apparent in how we treat and interact with one another and our community. We welcome students of any faith background. Central is holy ground and God wants to be working in the hearts of young adults as they grow in His plan for their life.
Here, the noise of the outside world is quieted; this is a place of learning, where our values and morals are nurtured. Students come to school each day ready to learn. High behavior standards and a modest dress code are set for our students any time they are at school or representing the school in the community. Parent and family involvement is encouraged and is a part of everyday life at Great Falls Central Catholic High School. In this small community, parents know each other and the staff, often working and volunteering side by side to support the school and the students.
Academic rigor and excellence is promoted through the effective use of resources, instructional materials, and technology. Learning means understanding the material presented and developing problem solving, effective communication and critical thinking skills.
