ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

 

Students entering Central must be qualified by their previous studies to pursue the course of studies outlined by Central, have completed an 8th grade course of study in a public or private middle school or home school, and are expected to have a record of good standing from their previous school. Placement of 9th graders in school curricular areas will be made through a review of the student's middle school record and/or standardized test scores. A copy of the student's official transcript (report cards) and immunization records must be on file before final acceptance to Central.

Transfer Students: All students transferring from a high school program must present a transcript, complete the Admission Forms, including the Confidential School Report and Release of Information. They may be personally interviewed by a member of the administration or counseling staff. Prospective students should contact our counseling office as soon as possible. Transcripts from state accredited high schools will be evaluated and credit for completed classes or classes in progress applied. Students from secondary programs and home school not accredited by the state will be assessed according to the school's Non-Accredited Transfer Policy.

 

TUITION, FEES AND FUNDRAISING

Although Central is a Catholic high school, students of other faiths are invited to seek admission. Great Falls Central Catholic High School admits students of any sex, race, color, creed, national or ethnic origin to all rights and privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration, educational policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic programs or other school-related and administrated programs.
Central is a Catholic secondary school operated by the Roman Catholic Bishop of Great Falls - Billings, with the assistance of a local School Board comprised mostly of lay persons. It depends on tuition, endowments, fundraising and its own resource management for its financial operation and viability. It receives no regular funding from the State of Montana. Every effort will be made to keep tuition at a reasonable level.


Registration Fee

The Registration Fee will be $75 annually. This fee is paid in the form of a non-refundable deposit at the same time of registration and guarantees a student's admittance to the school.

Book Fee

The Book fee will be $50 annually. This fee is also paid in the form of a non-refundable deposit at the same time of registration.

Student Activity and Participation Fee

The Student Activity and Participation Fee will be $35 per year per student for the first sport.
