| Central
is a place for students who like being involved. The school community
is diverse, with students coming from all over the Great Falls region
and from different ethnic and economic backgrounds. They have one thing
in common: they like to be involved. It is our belief that to be truly
educated, a person must take care of the spiritual, mental, and
physical. Central encourages all students to choose activities outside
of the school day. As a result, more than 90% of Central students
participate in one or more activities or sports.
Learning also takes place outside the classroom. It takes place in Student Council meetings, on the track and cross-country trails, in drama productions, working on the yearbook, in chess or math competitions, on the football field, on the volleyball and basketball courts, at the various volunteer opportunities, and in countless other places where Central activities and athletics take place. These activities and sports help students to develop leadership skills, serve the school and community, develop interests and talents that may become lifelong pursuits and develop the values of cooperation and responsibility.
